6 Days / 5 Nights

Sri Lanka Wildlife Adventure

Negombo · Minneriya · Sigiriya · Kandy · Galle Private vehicle & chauffeur guide

Overview

A 6-day stopover built around Minneriya National Park, one of the best places on the island to see wild elephant herds, bookended by the cultural triangle and a slower finish on Galle's beaches.

A practical option if you only have a short window but still want a real safari, not just a drive-by, alongside Sri Lanka's better-known cultural stops.

Frequently asked questions

Is Minneriya a good substitute for Yala?

For elephants specifically, yes — Minneriya's dry-season gathering is one of the best elephant sightings on the island; Yala has the edge for leopards if that's the priority.

Do we need to book the elephant safari in advance?

We arrange it as part of the itinerary, timed for the best viewing window on the day.

Can this be combined with a Yala safari too?

Yes, though it extends the trip — ask us for a version of this route with an added Yala leg.
