Frequently asked questions

What makes this route different from your other 12-day itinerary?

It leans into quieter, less-visited stops — a village walk near Sigiriya and a walk through the Sinharaja rainforest — rather than the more romance-oriented pacing of the Romance of Sri Lanka route.

Is the Sinharaja walk physically demanding?

No, it's a moderate walking trail with a naturalist guide, not a technical hike — reasonable fitness and sturdy shoes are enough.

Can Mirissa's whale watching be added if our dates align?

Yes, if you're travelling within whale-watching season (roughly November to April) we can build a morning boat trip into the Mirissa stop.
