Upon arrival, head to the sea side town of Chilaw for some rest and relaxation. Known for its blend of diverse religious communities and a living fishing industry.

Depart from Chilaw and head toward the historic city of Anuradhapura, stopping for a wild safari at Wilpattu National Park, the largest national park in Sri Lanka, covering over 1,000 square kilometers and home to incredible wildlife. After exploring Wilpattu, continue to Anuradhapura, the first ancient capital of Sri Lanka, known for its well-preserved ruins and rich history.

From Anuradhapura, journey to Habarana, a popular hub due to its proximity to renowned national parks and landmarks like Sigiriya and Anuradhapura. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

After a restful night, prepare for an early morning climb to Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, near Dambulla. This massive rock fortress, built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century, has a rich history and marvels at the engineering brilliance of this ancient site.Later, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka, home to historic statues that date back thousands of years.

Depart from the mountain range and head to Kandy, Sri Lanka's cultural capital. On the 7th day, travel to the town of Digana, near Kandy, for a unique culinary experience.

After a night in Digana, Get ready to enjoy a wildlife adventure in Wasgamuwa National Park. Known for its rich biodiversity, this park is famous for large herds of elephants and various species of birds and mammals, including leopards and bears. From Wasgamuwa, head to Mahiyanganaya, a historic town and the homeland of Sri Lanka's indigenous Vedda community. Mahiyanganaya is renowned for being the first place visited by Lord Buddha in Sri Lanka. After exploring these locations, return to Digana for rest.
